Our Park City rafting and hiking excursion starts when we pick you up at your Park City lodging. We will drive you 45 minutes to Provo Canyon where the adventures begin. The hike starts with riding the scenic chairlift at the Sundance Resort. After we get off the lift, the hiking excursion is all downhill! The Stewart Falls are about a mile hike down from the the top of the lift and then a mile back to Sundance. It is a loop hike allowing you to get the most scenery possible with no duplicate views. The hike is very easy and great for any age. The entire chairlift ride and hike are about 2.5-3 hours. After the hike, we can either have a sit down lunch at the Foundry Grill or grab a quick sandwich at the deli.
After lunch, it is about a 10 minute drive to the Provo River where our Park City Rafting Excursion begins. We will take you down the Provo River in either our raft or two-person inflatable kayaks. The Provo River rafting choice is good if you have little kids or do not want to get too wet. It winds along the Provo River and through parks and forests. There are also many bridges and tunnels you get to go through. There are a few waterfalls along the trail that we can see from the path or do some optional light hiking to get a closer look. After the biking excursion, we will have lunch at the river and we will start the Park City rafting or kayaking excursion.
The Provo Canyon float trip is about 1.5-2 hours and accommodates many varied adventure levels.
